TURCO 4215 NC-LT-S
NONSILICATED, NONCHROMATED, MILDLY ALKALINE CLEANER FOR THE AEROSPACE INDUSTRY
Turco 4215-NC-LT-S is a white granular mix developed for cleaning ferrous and nonferrous alloys, normally used in the aerospace industry, by spray, immersion and ultrasonic methods at low temperatures.
Turco 4215-NC-LT-S is ideal for cleaning fuel and hydraulic components and for cleaning metals prior to metal bonding.
Turco 4215-NC-LT-S is not recommended for use on magnesium alloys.
Turco 4215-NC-LT-S offers these benefits:
Tanks: Tanks, headers and associated equipment may be fabricated from mild steel or stainless steel.
Spray Systems: Add Turco 4215-NC-LT-S to cold water at the ratio of 7,5 to 15 g/Lt. water.
Operate tank from 45 to 55°C, for 2 to 4 minutes. Rinse with cold to warm water.
Immersion Systems: Add Turco 4215-NC-LT-S to cold water at the ratio of 45 to 60 g/Lt. water. Use air or mechanical agitation. Operate tank from 45 to 55°C, for 5 to 10 minutes.
Rinse with cold to warm water by spray or overflowing immersion methods.
Ultrasonic Systems: Add Turco 4215-NC-LT-S at the ratio of 4 to 15 g/Lt. water.
Degas system prior to cleaning. Rinse with cold to warm water.
Note: For difficult to remove soils, add Turco 4215-NC-LT-S Additive at the ratio of
65 to 95 ml per 100 Lt. of solution.
Your Turco territory manager will supply you with a Turco test kit and instruct your personnel in its use. A laboratory test procedure is available upon request.
Dispose of spent solution per local, state and regional regulations. Refer to your local Turco territory manager, region sales office or Turco material safety data sheet for additional disposal information.
Turco 4215-NC-LT-S contains borate. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not take internally. Use with adequate (equivalent to outdoor) ventilation.
Protective clothing, such as a chemical face shield or goggles, gloves, booth and apron, made from alkali resistant neoprene, should be worn when handling and using this product.
A respirator equipped with a mechanical filter should be worn during dust and misting conditions.
